Black and white paintings, or value paintings, are an excellent way of showcasing the raw atmosphere of your character or scene. A value painting is based on how light or dark the content is, on a scale of white to black. The values of a piece are considered to be one of the most vital components of a painting - whether it's in black and white or colour.
Coloured Art Commissions
Artworks that take full advantage of a vivid palette.
Coloured paintings are the best way of showing the nuance and complexity of a character or communicating the rollercoaster of emotion in a scene. Coloured paintings by Modemkiller are fully rendered in RGB colour, perfect for digital display on your devices and VTTs. If you require your painting in CMYK in preparation for printing, just let us know and we'll work to suit.

All prices on Modemkiller.com are inclusive of all applicable taxes - what you see is what you get.
Ordering your commission couldn't be easier - just start a dialogue with us using the contact form at the foot of this page. Once we understand the nature of your commission request, we can quote you on the appropriate price as soon as possible. Special requests or especially complex descriptions can incur extra costs, but these will be explicitly communicated to you before you commit to buy.
VTT Character Tokens for Coloured Commissions
Tokens created from your artwork for use in Virtual Table Top platforms.
For coloured art pieces, we also provide you with the added value of tokens created from your artwork commission. If you choose to purchase coloured portraits, coloured full body art or even full colour adventure party artwork, you will be provided with the respective tokens to match! VTT Character tokens are an excellent way of faithfully representing your character in digital games.
How do I Receive my Commission?
Your commission can be downloaded from the members area - just log in and visit Member Perks.
The members perks area is free to access and is complete with all of the commissions recently delivered by Modemkiller. Artworks paid for by the community are freely available to download by anyone who creates an account. If you would prefer that your commission isn't listed in the members area for any reason, let us know.
